I’ve started so many books this year that I haven’t been able to finish. 
Strangely they’re primarily fiction, which I’m going to blame Twitter for 
taking away my attention span and resolve to fix it through the holidays. 
Non-fiction recs though:

Recapture the Rapture by Jamie Wheal - a look at a world post religion, what he 
calls a Meaning Crisis, and whether that leads us into tribalism

Another Now by Yanis Varoufakis - told through fiction it’s an imagining of 
what an alternative to capitalism might look like, ownership, rights, 
production, etc

Because Internet by Gretchen McCulloch - how the internet changes the English 
language and how wonderful language evolution is to be able to express ideas we 
may not have had the words for…
