One other task that I prefer a laptop rather than a smartphone is
videoconferencing (Zoom, FaceTime, &etc). It's certainly convenient to use
a phone for this and I do - but it's much more relaxing for me to use a
bigger screen and have my hands free when I'm at my desk. Also - if there
is information to be shared via screen sharing it's easier to manage the
different contexts on the laptop.

Similarly - if I am listening to lectures in an online course it's easier
to take notes using a laptop than a phone.

I love the phone for directions. I recently visited London for the first
time and was a bit astonished at how well the navigation apps worked for
walking around the city and using the tube. Wandering around was very
relaxing.
