That's a hard one - if it moves and it's that flexible and you can't
do anything with it - it's sort of like the justifications for the
invasion of Iraq. But this doesn't really fit - the Buckymobile is
solid matter and the justifications are gaseous.

But even lacking a metaphor - it's extremely cool in the sense that
it's fun to think with. Eugene thinks about this stuff much more than
I do so he might not be as amused - but aside from the techniques of
making it I think that the main value of the Buckymobile is that it's
good for the imagination. It's illustrating what is possible with a
concrete example. Maybe it can be filed under the category '21st
century post-post modern art'?
