Self preservation. I've often pondered that the logical thing to do
would be to exit now, except it isn't easy. Somewhere along the line
self preservation kicks in before insanity. Unless you want it the other
way.
If this aging cure became available at a price (I'd bet a high price) I
wouldn't be first in line. OTOH, if this was something that was done
pre-birth where the child had no control over it, it'd be another
example of the loudest voices in society deciding what's best for the
future generations.
Living is suffering, self-realization dawned sometime before I learned
that the Buddha's teachings are somewhat along the same line. But then
again, I'm not the religious type.
