Not to be taking sides, but can't "free energy" be a tortured euphemism for "renewable source of energy"? "Free" is a lot more attention provoking, which may have been the intended effect. Pool up money for one ad in a prestigious publication, and word it such that everyone's going to talk about it, saving on ad-spend.

Seems legitimate so far.

(The science itself may or may not be.)
