i think you have a valid point...at least on the basis of this email ;-)
i dont know if its fair / or unfair....we all have such stereotypes about other cultures......
part of the problem lies with steretypical perceptions of the subcontinent. I for one believe movies
like "Gandhi" did more damage than good in reenforcing many such stereotypes....
(they show it at least once a month on satellite tv.... - what a horrible film.....i dont have
anything against Gandhi...in fact i quite like him....but the movie, in my opinion is utter rubbish - ben kingsley
