many commentators in the west, and western governments, adopt straightforward mercantilist policies under the guise of "globalisation" or "free trade". but they are not the "most ardent pro-globalisers", if they are pro-globalisers at all. the most ardent certainly do favour removing restrictions on the free movement of people - the most mainstream example of this is perhaps _the economist_. -rishab
