And the society housewives wear Fabindia khadi or _linen_. Pay through the nose for it too - for badly stitched stuff that loses colour everytime you put it in the wash. I'm all for directly paying the producer, but why on earth do outfits like Fabindia (which rake most of the loot in) exist?
