Wireless power is not complete bunk. However, it is always inefficient,
in real environments.

I read a decent article on it recently but can't recall where.
Probably wired or the economist given my reading habits.
It's hard to see a good solution at the fundamental (physics) level.
By good solution I mean say the ideal of power for your laptop as
freely roaming as wifi. One thing being tried was using magnetism
which may futz less with stray humans getting in the way than say high
energy radio.
