by the way, how do you handle clients who refuse to pay their bills at
the restaurant...?

At some upper end restaurnts (tested only in kenya and uganda...) I
have eaten a nice meal and told them at the end that I am sorry, I
dont have money to pay the bill, i am willing to wash dishes etc...

Every restaurant to date has asked me - how much can i pay? and it has
been possible to get away with a trivial sum... It seems very strange
to me that no restaurant has implied threats of calling the police,
etc...maybe they are worried about image or causing a scene... I dont
quite understand it....but the more expensive the restaurant the
better it seems to work?
