Is those things arms, or is they legs?
That reminds me of a piece of verse that I read in Arnold Silcock's Verse and Worse: Long before I was Solomon and you were the Queen of Sheba We lived life togther..as one amoeba. ...... Anon came division, fission, and divorce... A lonely pseudopodium, I wandered on my course. (The first two lines are not verbatim, but I have never forgotten the last two.)
