If I may say so - this class of people in India are the exact equivalent of 
the people I have described as the  R.A.P.E. (Rich Anglophone Pakistani 
Elite) in Pakistan.

In an earlier era - this was the life of royalty in India, but pre-and post 
independence machinations ensured that the royalty had wealth but little 
power.

If this class of Indian controlled the government, armed forces and  foreign 
policy, and ensured that control stayed within,  India would be Pakistan.
