But is the response to terrorism and 9-11 by the US "robust"? If
anything, it has only made Americans suspicious and distrustful of
other Americans. If the aim of terrorism is to instil fear and disrupt
economic activity, I'd say Americans of today are doing it quite well
without assistance from AQ.
