Yah, very interesting. I read similar criticisms when the film came out.
I think the judge pulled his punches a bit when he pointed out the
overall value of the film. I don't always buy all of Gore's rhetoric,
but I'm certainly happy the film put the environment in the front of
global politics. I spent many years working in the environmental
movement, and I'd like change to occur much faster. I'm not sure it
will, but at least we are attempting to move in the right direction.
