NH-5 is great road. At least one of the few roads in south India which
is well maintained. "Well Maintained" == "Too many Toll Plaza's" ,
which is kinda annyoing after every 100 - 150 Kms. I have done this
route, till vijayawada. Not sure about Vijayawada to Hyderabad

Chittoor - Kurnool is a bad idea. No good restrooms all along the
stretch and the climate is usually hot all around the year.

Rather from chittoor go down to bangalore, enjoy some freshly brewed
filter coffee and drive down Bangalore to Hyderabad. :D
