the 'remember me' box is ticked by default. didn't look out the first time.
If you want control over this behaviour, just do the following in firefox:
go to
Tools > Options > Cookies
and then change the setting to "keep cookies until I close firefox".
This will then delete your user cookies (which is how google knows
it's you) every time you close the browser.
