Subject: [ccm-l] desktop calendar (OFF TOPIC)
Does anyone use a desktop calendar that would come alive whenever you
switch on your computer to tell you all the details of your day's/
month's schedule and synchronisable with PDA?
I use emacs-planner and I start emacs whenever I login to my box. From
my .emacs, I call the (plan) function which shows me the tasks for the
day. You can do (and I do) a bunch of funky stuff with planner, but I
don't sync it with the pda. (side question - can you run emacs on the
pda?)
Some good stuff in planner
- timeclock, so you know how much time you spend on tasks
- aggregate the time spent on projects
- creates tasks from mails, notes
