Hi all,
so after posting a little bit now some intro, but who I am? (or who I
like to be? good question anyway)
A technophil and sometimes technophobic, India-loving
German, who came to India first time two years ago. Involved in a
wireless community network in Germany (http://www.on-i.de), I have some
extensive theoretical and practical knowledge about wireless networks.
And usually I try to convince people who pass by me that - combined with
an community approach - those networks are fun, exciting, etc. Thats
what I did around Bangalore for a good while (http://b-w-m.absorb.it)
Beside being an hacker (write some free software), a "Chaos Computer
Club"-member and being a kid playing around with technology I'm also a
social scientist, political activist and critical questioner, who likes
to understand the world and questions the widespread unquestioned use of
information technology.
Since last September I'm in Bangalore, working with janastu.org and
Dinesh from janastu pointed me to the list. Currently staying in
Trivandrum I hope to have some nice fruitful discussions on the list.
