I am only using pair for hosting the website. In that case, does it make sense to leave the NS Records as the default rediff ones and simply point the IP (A Name) to where it's being hosted (on Pair)?
point the IP to where you want the website to be hosted
make sure the webserver on that IP knows to serve your site
point the MX to where you want the mailserver to be hosted
make sure the servers for that MX set handle mail for your domain
