Like I said this is subjective. Chacun a son gout. I like, own, and listen to Rush and Iggy Pop as well as Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock (though I prefer Keith Jarrett and Pat Metheny). As I get older my ability to listen to and appreciate music is expanding rather than contracting. I even voluntarily went to a country music concert two nights ago, and enjoyed it. The surreality of listening to Australians singing country music may have helped, but the fact that the slide guitarist was genuinely talented certainly helped. I even enjoy Carnatic music... -- Charles
