Sigh. As long as they arent monetizing the 404s yet. Use opendns by all means, or run a local dns resolver (bind / dnscache) forwarding to opendns. But if its a transparent http proxy then I guess you're reduced to either changing your ISP, or switching to tunneling your http traffic out through tor or an ssh tunnel. [Perhaps better to do it via ssh - if you use tor and surf around unencrypted you're liable to get sniffed by j.random skript kiddy running a fake tor exit node]
