Heh, I wonder about this institution's place in society based on the
close proximity of MFA to the Mylapore Lawn Tennis association. There
are a couple of other sabhas that border tennis courts, like in Venus
Colony and Beasant Nagar I think.

Notice how convenient it was to have a social life - a blend of fine
musical traditions and an elegant sport producing a class of back
stroking, Abheri rendering Iyers. How we have slipped. Tch tch...

Actually too much time inside the college hostel (which was a
convenient place to lie down in the mid-day Madras heat) and the 1008
tea shops in the vicinity.
