[Against my better judgment I enter here. Like Udhay I too am being carried
away in a tide of deadlines, and I like to fool myself that I have time by
writing on silk]

1. Colombo is sparsely populated in comparison to any Indian city. This
changes things a lot. Further, I'd hate to live in a city like Colombo.
2. The police are insufferable as they are, I'd hate for them to have more
power.
3. The terrorists hitting Mumbai are only able to do so because of the
underworld's support. Shutting this down is easier than having a policeman
everywhere.
4. A Munich like operation is what I wanted when I first heard of the
blasts. However if anyone is launching a private Munich effort, IMO they
should also include a few Indian politicians in the list whose removal will
result in greater net good than any terrorist.
