I subscribe to the middlestage feed. However, hardly have the time
these days to read reviews.

Anyone here read Abraham Eraly's 'The Mughal World: India's Tainted
Paradise'[1]? I bought the sort of prequelish book to this one called
"The gem in the Lotus"[2] but never actually got to read it past its
first few pages.
