Does this seem very unlike India to you? I want to understand why. IMO, we've just figured out that we can actually fess us that we screwed up when we fell in love (agreed to marry someone) and leave when it does not work out. > Welcome Raja. IMO, it's just a matter of how soon will you get assimilated. You've got used to living in a completely different kind of environment, shielded from everyone else. And then you come to India where you *will* know how your neighbour in the 8th house on your left (or the 12th floor if you live in a flat) has a spat with his cousin brother twice removed. You think this is too much information, but it seems normal here. Not to mention that all the applications in your computer keep telling you that colour is spelt color. :-)
Raja, maybe we should catch up for a coffee or a beer or your poison of choice when I am in Chennai later this week. Message me offlist if you want to hear from someone who moved back 2 years ago and survives. It will be nice to meet some silk listers old and new in Chennai. Venkat PS:I now honk occasionally and still shake my fist at the cab drivers. :-)
