I suspect that might be a better option. South Bangalore does have the reputation of being fairly conservative. The Cannt belt might be a better fit. On the other hand, that area is a. more expensive b. overrun by the obnoxious noveau riche IT/ITES crowd [1] -- b [1] Yes, I know I would fall into that category too -- but, what the heck, I don't like Malayalis either and I'm one of those too.
