You got it! Cosmopolitan Bangalore is a sham - a layer of brightly colored paint on a deeply conservative South Indian society. At some level all people who live in Bangalore have to "give way" to its deep conservatism. This is easier if you are already here by some magic. But when you are trying to settle in the way you are doing you come across the highest walls. But you will settle in and become part of its cosmopolitan face and your pictures will start appearing in page 3 of Times of India. And conservative Bangaloreans like me will wonder where all these people come from. All these meat eaters wearing foreign clothes and all. shiv
