Ever heard of preaching to the choir? For reasons that I shall not go into, I
hold sambhar, not to mention bisi bele bhaath, ambure and other delights, close
to ambrosia, and I am permitted to say so.

I'm reporting as honestly as possible what transpired at the scene of the
accident. What lent poignancy to the whole situation was the domination of the
Mess Committee by L. Sankaran et al. Our opinion of the proceedings, an opinion
commonly adhered to by both South and North (the verb 'held' is deprecated in
this connection for reasons soon to be apparent), is summed up by what the Mess
Secretary's initial was converted to, in daily parlance. Sinister designation,
that, Mess Secretary.

Udhay reminds me that Silk List is publicly archived, so I shall omit detail
(nearly said 'eschew' and gagged), since I don't want a Czech car-maker to sue
me for violation of trade-mark.
