First of all, sorry to Thaths for putting a reply that is not going to help his original question to recommend books. All other books that have been suggested look extremely interesting and I look forward to reading them as well as hear reviews/discussions on them.

It would have been same as Jaswant saga if Shourie was a BSP party guy. If one want to read Jaswant's book they can get it in Karnataka for now and I look forward to getting it asap. - Bharat
