I used to use Tor (got into it when I was in college), but I've given up on it for regular browsing. It is just *too* slow. Has anything improved in the last eight months or so that I haven't used it? On a slightly related note: It is sometimes irritating how Google tries please me by guessing my language (and presents results in a language I don't understand) solely on the basis of my IP address. (Yes, I know that can be fixed by hard-coding the language bit of the search query URL in FF, but it ought not be that difficult.)
