Interest in pornography is pretty universal (at least among men),

The thing with these specific books (Kampf, Shrugged, Influence
People, etc.) is that they've been popular for over three decades.
This smörgåsbord of books, IMO, says something about the interests of
the educated middle and upper classes of India. My theory is that
middle class Indians feel so under-represented by the political system
that they go into flights of fancy about Fascism or Objectivism where
their views, for once, is heard and heeded to.

All of that said, I love the fact that there is a market in pirated
books and that this market was even flourishing right in the middle of
State-sponsored Socialist trope such as "Garibi Hatao".
