Rather a spacious one :)...and there's also a clubhouse area which can be
rented out.

Shiv and Deepa have visited so they can gauge if it is a suitable venue.

Shoba is an excellen hostess...that's not a polite remark, either.
However,Deepa...will be in Arunachal Pradesh at the time, but if this venue
is OK with everyone, I can give the address for people to get their
Googlemaps or Yahoomaps or whatever.

Being a year-old inductee, I don't know the format of Silk Meets, but I
would love to have Silk Listers over for a party on 19th (lunch or dinner).
We have held book readings and baithaks for under 50 people at home. If it
is over 50 people, it will only work with the "Home is small but heart is
large" assumption of goodwill.

I'd say, Shoba, if the confirmations are even over 40... hire the clubhouse
area downstairs and everyone can split that cost, too. It's a pleasant
enough space.

And very nice it is of her, too. Wish I were not off on the 15th...there are
SO many people I'd like to meet face-to-fez...
