A 5 minute talk is harder IMO to pull off than a longer one. But you make it sound like an evening outing, I am confused. That was like reading one of the self help books by Captain Obvious, vacuous and meaningless. The kernel of wisdom the talk contained is as old as Genghis Khan. I am sure he could have said it better, with real field experience - or perhaps, he would consider it so obvious he wouldn't bother talking about it. Of course, it could be that one goes there to network, and not really deliver an intellectually stimulating talk. But then, why not just say that. Cheeni
