I attended an Ignite Seattle event last year, and nearly all the talks
were pretty high quality. However, they decided to start holding it
every 3 months and since then the quality has dropped a bit. The
quality of talks depends the density of good speakers with interesting
things to say around the location you are in. Seattle scores pretty
high in that regard.

Social-media types tend to take over every event eventually :).
However, in the Seattle Ignite format, the focus is really on the
talks and they happen in rapid succession, with a short break in
between.
