Here is a question that has been bugging me of late..

Keeping pigs is of no use to anyone unless one wants to eat them. And you
don't eat pigs unless you like pork. But surely if you like pork, you cannot
like pigs - because you have to kill the pigs. But then, if you dislike pigs
so much that you want to kill them, why keep them in the first place?

Maybe that somehow explains the arabica/robusta business. You don't feed your
pigs with robusta because it makes sense to pass it off as arabica to suckers
who ask for it.

I recall an incident in England when I went to an Indian shop and asked for
Basmati rice. The shopkeeper asked me "Indian or Pakistani Basmati?". Being a
true patriot I said "Indian" and it was only after eating the rice that I
thought of asking myself "How the fuck would I, or even the shopkeeper know
the difference between Indian or Pakistani Basmati?". There is a level of
trust here that collapses the minute any con man, or any businessman enters
the chain.

Same thing goes for arabica and robusta no?
