Congrats Biju/Beena! Ben seems to be such a responsible older brother, at
least for the fraction of the second required to take that photograph!

I have a question that is a valid one for an Indian household.... how did
Danny escape being the 4th B? Usually, once an initial has happened to be a
common one for parents, it sorts of perpetuates itself across the
generations....!

Does anyone else on this list have a grandchild, or its plural? Or am I the
only one?

I've not been a typical letter of the Greek alphabet (gamma), as I've been
the primary caregiver for one-year-old Kavya Mohan Shaffer (who, as someone
remarked, is not yet on this mailing list...but would an Abou ben Adhem if
the list description was "unintelligible conversation".) but for various
reasons (not the usual ones, because I *can't* give the baby back to the
parents whenver she cries!)....a grandchild is even more delightful than
one's own child.

But meanwhile...enjoy the replication of your genes, and let the little
delights that each day brings, carry you through the bottles and the
nappies and the burps and the sleepless nights Biju!

Cheers, Deepa.
