Old news, actually. There's been enough and more talk about the Times Private Treaties and other similar, but quieter, ventures by other media houses. What I find particularly amusing is that after spending a bunch of time and money on an investigation and report, the government is actually considering not releasing the findings. I wonder if the vested interests in political circles have as much (or more) to lose than the media houses themselves if they're named as parties in these transactions.
