Yes I read that reference to a fracture. That would not be a "heart attack" but a fat embolism. Either way it can kill as surely and quickly as a heart attack. TRRK left medical pratice because his father died (early) so there is a family history there - but there is no connection between a heart attack and a fat embolism. Sad stuff. Whenever somone I know dies I find my mind switching between unemotional and tehnical to sentimental and regretful. I recently met an old friend whose husband was fit and healthy, came back from a game of golf feeling tired, went to bed a was stone cold dead in the morning and his daughter disciovered the fact. The poor girl, who was a pre-adolescent then, is now suffering from all sorts of issues involving unresolved grief and an inability to cope. I sincerely hope that TRRKs wife and daughter get the strength to get past this tragedy. shiv
