Wood-dweller, I didn't get that....you meant "Bicycle Built For Two", I
suppose...but I can't get the connection....

Deepa.

Oh dear, my senile old brain playing tricks again. I muddled the words of two
similar popular tunes of the time when my Mum was young; she used to sing these
to us.

The one I meant:

    K-K-K-Katy, beautiful Katy,
    You're the only g-g-g-girl that I adore;
    When the m-m-m-moon shines,
    Over the cowshed,
    I'll be waiting at the k-k-k-kitchen door.

The one I quoted wrongly:

    Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do,
    I'm half crazy all for the love of you.
    It won't be a stylish marriage -
    I can't afford a carriage,
    But you'd look sweet upon the seat
    Of a bicycle built for two.

Back to my egg-nog for the next year.
