I don't, but I am trying to, and I am not content to mouth the party
line. I choose to say the controversial, the critical, the painful,

Well, power to you, the problem with numerical prowess is the number
system guarantees that there will be a larger number, always.

When there isn't any food in the stomach one can't pay attention to
the words coming in through the ears.

I don't believe that you need to be rich to be wise, but for most
people it is the case. I know many examples, even among close
relatives of mine that have bucked the trend and have memorized
Tagore, and Gogol and Tolstoy while never having come even within
sniffing distance of fame or wealth.

I think they are the exception though, not the norm.
