Be careful of US customs regulations. We're encouraged to report any foodstuffs we're carrying and they sometimes get seized when we do :-(.
seized and thrown into a dustbin, to the chagrin of quite a few people who turn up carrying sweets, pickles, masala and everything else that they don't expect to get in a howling wasteland called america where people eat mcdonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner :) Makes for a bit of a schadenfreudically enjoyable sight
