Only after hearing from Udhay by phone recently (Heil Udhay!) and unrelatedly, did I realize that I should have posted this here on silklist:

In the last 10 days the article has been the #1 most emailed article on Al Jazeera English, which is not just a craven way of drawing attention to my own awesomeness, but in fact a way of posing the question of whether this issue needs more attention, and if so... how? I.e. what should I do now? ck
