I haven't heard of anyone being released on parole, or violating parole. On a related note, it's very jarring when Indians use American legal terms as if they're applicable globally. I've heard people talking about the fifth amendment - as if a presidential reference to state legislatures on matters affecting the states is somehow relevant to an individual's discretion. Ram
