Taking off from Udhay's connection to oil prices, this seems to be a situation that benefits all the allies. Tehran took a step up with the oil field bombings and this is a further escalation. It is a no-downside outcome from the perspective of the chief paymasters, Riyadh and DC. I'm sure they have considered the fact that Tehran is not known for its hasty escalations and have sent an unequivocal message with this considered move. I can only hope that they have also considered that nobody holds a grudge like the Ayatollahs.
