I agree to all of the above except for the coffee filter. If it is an unbleached Malita brand filter, I agree. If it is any other brand, especially a Mr. Coffee, you are actually adding contaminants to your solution. The Mr. Coffee has some kind of coffee flavor improver imbedded in the filter. Try making coffee on a Mr. Coffee sometime with another brand of filter to prove the point. Been there done that. With the Malita filter you have the best odds of doing your solution a favor. I still maintain that lab filters are the best and they are cheap. Sometimes you can get some from a local lab just by asking. I got some from the Sheriffs Dept. Forensic Lab just by asking once. Got enough to do more batches than I will ever need. Most lab supply houses have 'em down to the less than micron size. Jack
