Just starting to make colloidal silver. Wondering if we could standardize a
recipe.

1) Gauge of silver wire.
I have seen everything from 18 gauge to 12 gauge to silver ingots.
2) Purity of silver
I've heard anything from 99.9 to 99.999% silver.
3) Amount of silver wire submerged.
The best directions were, As much as possible, being careful not to
let the alligator clips touch the water.
4) I heard cautions against letting the silver touch the sides or bottom of the
glass, to directions to hang the wire over the glass. Why or why not?
5) Length of time

I am hoping to get something like

For 12 gauge, submerge X inches for Y minutes to get Z potency.
  For 14 gauge....
  For 16 gauge...
  For ingots...
To get A ppm, cook X minutes
To get B ppm, cook Y minutes

Can we get any consensus here?
