Hi, everybody,
The sailing weather was wonderful this weekend. The only problem was
that the draw bridge was stuck down, so we couldn't get out of the bay
in time to get to Greenport, Sat.! So we had our weekend "vacation" on
the CT coastline instead! Finally got out late Sat. afternoon for a
little sail but the winds were very light by then. Well, you know, a
bad day sailing is better than a good day at work!
Since I read that article on Silver Products (posted recently in , I've
been considering more a point referred to in the article regarding Vit.
E, selenium and silver consumption. P. 121: "Some researchers have
suggested that Vit. E or selenium deficiency may increase susceptibility
to systemic silver toxicity. Wagner et.al. and Bunyan et.al have shown
that hepatic necrosis can be induced by administering silver
preparations to Vitamin E/selenium deficient rats. They hypothesized
that toxicity was due to a silver-induced selenium deficiency that
inhibits the synthesis of the seleno-enzyme gutathione peroxidase.
Further, Bunyan et.al. showed that if rat diets were supplemented with
selenium or vitamin E, exposure to silver as high as 140 mg/kg/d was
still well tolerated. [That's pretty high, now, isn't it?]
"When absorption is limited, systemic silver toxicity occurs
infrequently. However, after ingestion, up to 10% of silver *salts* may
be absorbed. Moreover, absorption is increased from disrupted mucous
membranes or skin wounds such as burns. Also, ingested soluble silver
salts may corrode the gastrointestinal mucosa. Occasionally, death may
result from local trauma, hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, and shock."
Is silver oxide a salt?
>From the context, it appears that this is still a discussion of animal
studies. But perhaps we should be cautious in using our weak solutions
on slow-healing open wounds, or if there is a history of
gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.
The reason I brought this up is because I think what we are producing is
silver oxide when we make our colloidal silver, as hydrogen bubbles
break away from the HO2 and the silver then comes off the wire into the
solution, presumably balancing with the free oxygen. Am I correct?
So I wonder if some of the benefit from colloidal silver may also be in
taking more oxygen in as well. In reviewing a webpage on "Vitamin 0,"
it seemed as though the process of making vitamin O was similar to the
process of making colloidal silver. (see http://www.readbiotech.com).
I have heard of people taking peroxide, and now I just found a page
about peroxide emulsions of some sort for skin care that apparently
increase O2 in the body similar to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
It was from that page Oxygen Emulsion: The Question of Free Radicals
by Ted Kalli (http://www.livelinks.com/sumeria/oxy/rad2.html) that I was
brought back to thoughts about the article about silver and the
relationship of antioxidants, or the notion that we should be taking
Vit. E supplements while taking silver. [reviewed by me in: "Re: CS
turning black-- LONG (review of Literature re: argyria)"]
Am I off in limbo, or is there a relationship between oxygen and silver
consumption, and therefore that could be why we should take antioxidants
concurrently? I thought the mechanism of silver was that it deprives
bacteria of O2 produced by our enzymes & needed for sustaining itself
(it smothers the bacteria.)
This just leaves me with more questions. Is there a "peroxide" list
where I can ask some questions (if I can ever figure out what my
questions are?)
Can anybody shed some light on the relationship between silver, oxygen,
peroxide, and antioxidants?
I have found out about a hyperbaric list, but I don't remember how you

Anybody want to read something uplifting? Read below how the hyperbaric
chamber helped this wife/mother apparently dying from MS. (As a Lyme
victim myself, I wouldn't be surprised if the really enemy was a
spirochete bacteria such as the Lyme bacteria! That's not unusual.
It's often the culprit behind fibromyalgia, CFS, ADD, Alzeihmers, and
more.)
The attached posting may be confusing; just ignore the beginning; one
of our Lyme disease posters didn't know how she got this, but since it
was so good, she posted it on the LD newsgroup.
Maybe I'm pretty confused, too, about silver, oxygen, etc. It just
seems there's some relationship here, and I don't have the big picture.
Although I got an above average grade, chemistry was not my strong-point
in college. I barely remember anything about it except getting extra
points for getting my own name right on the tests! :)

Hello,
I would like to share my success with others.
I was diagnosed with M.S. back in Dec 93... the desease spread
rapidly...i have several other diagnoses such as Lupus, Scleroderma,
stroke,
Silicone poisoning, etc., etc., etc.... traveled the country looking for
someone to help.. all medical doctors said " go home and die or "lets try
chemotherapy".. i refused and came back home to California to die with my
husband and children.... my family refused to give up...i refused also...
i
asked God to save me long enough to raise my children.... my mother,
father
and husband found hyperbarics... it was the only thing left.... i have
had
wonderful results... went from wheelchair & bed to cane within a few
months,
my condition continued to get better...soon my eyesight started to get
better
even though i had a lesion on the right optic nerve in my brain....

kept getting smaller... my brain scans were improving along with
MRI's.... i
can walk now without a cane... i cannot walk long distances but I can
walk...
i can go to the grocery store.. i never thought i would be able to walk
past
my bathroom much less the grocery store....
Anyway, i have found that God has more work for me... I am raising my
children and i help others by telling my story (this is only a small part)
