Well, everybody? Is it that time again? Not two weeks have gone by
since Scott and I "cleared the air" of *his* objections about
Lindemann and argyria. I have since seen not just one, but now *two*
cases of Scott's purposeful but "unintended" attacks on list
participants leading to hurt feelings and defensive responses.

It is ironic as hell that I'm made to feel "sick and tired" of a
list that is *supposed* to be about getting healthy.

We all know that Scott is a *real* champion of colloidal silver and
has a great deal to contribute. I for one want us to have the benefit
of his considerable experience.

But *THIS* is the kind of reaction that I *DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO SEE
ON THIS LIST!*...

Tom is responding here to such remarks from Scott, as:

"...did you not tell me that your area of specialization was
radiology? But you feel free to prognosticate..."

"My most sincere sympathy goes out to those so mentally conditioned
as to give credence to this representation of the drug companies'
party line, just because of two little letters (that mean absolutely
nothing in terms of being wise in matters of health) that follow a
man's name."

"...you condemn this little girl to a lifetime with a serious
illness, simply because you don't know what you are talking about."

These remarks are rude and argumentative no matter *what* the forum.
And they sound especially so here, in the totally written medium of
e-mail. They are "fightin' words." In the meantime, Scott tries to
justify and excuse his ill-mannered behavior with remarks like:

"No offense Tom, but this stuff really gets me going."

The problem is, whether Scott intends it or not, he offends everybody
that he attempts to "correct" with his crude attacks, and everybody
who has to read them. And there *is* no excuse or justification for
such attacks at all.

Once again, Scott has to realize that his (wholly *justified*, IMHO)
*prejudice* against the mainstream medical profession threatens to
express itself as *bigotry* and get in the way of everything he or
any of us on this list want to accomplish.

And, worst of all, his intolerance acts to *STIFLE* and *SUPPRESS*
the free exchange of ideas we have come here for and drive away new
seekers who witness everybody being forced to run the gauntlet of
Scott's criticism and "correction."

It is apparent to me that Scott is eager to work and sacrifice for
the cause of colloidal silver and other "alternative" treatments. His
efforts must frequently attain the heroic. The dedication and fervor
come through clearly, unmistakeably:

> This is all I have to offer tonight, it is late and I am tired.
> Suffice it to say, there IS HOPE FOR DIABETES! This child does not
> have to be condemned to a life on damaging insulin and a sentence
> of NO HOPE FOR HER RECOVERY!!!!!

The tragedy is that the information he has to share with us, from
the likes of Hulda Clark and Dr. DeLynn Hansen in this case, is
*valuable* and *challenging* and, if delivered WITHOUT THE HOSTILE
PERSONAL ATTACKS, would do all the good he could hope for.

The Silver List is the only one of several mailing lists I am on that
I allow to come in to my main mail folder. So I see every post when
it comes in and usually read them all. As such, I have a sense of
closeness to all of you who contribute.

But I have personally taken all the steps I am willing to at this
time to deal with Scott's behavior.

I am now ready to either filter the silver-list to the background and
stop participating unless I have a specific need for information, or
to unsubscribe and abandon it entirely.

The list owner has donated time and money to give us a forum in
which to share our knowledge of colloidal silver free from attack by
our enemies. It pains me to impose on him with any demand.

But I will wait to see what corrective action is taken, if any, and
then make my decision. In the meantime, I will *NOT* respond on-list
and clutter it up any more. (I can hear the sighs of relief for
*that* already!)

Finally, if I am out of line, I am willing to be corrected. But I am
not satisfied with the way the list is going, and I cannot stand to
witness the *corruption* of a valuable resource. If that is to
continue, it will do so without me.
