People with Lyme have reported the most detox / Herxheimer reactions, from what I've heard reported, in using Zappers. Far greater Herx reactions can be stimulated by the radiant Plasma devices, such as the Rife-Bare device. I've personally experienced Herx reactions on only a couple of occasions -not too severe. > This leads me to another question...I have always heard that electric > blankets, tvs, cell phones, radar waves and any other electrical or > magnetic devices were bad for the body and sometimes stimulated certain > cells into mutation, therefore *causing* disease (cancer I assume). Robert O. Becker's two books, "The Body Electric" ans "Cross Currents" are an encellent source of information in trying to gain an understanding of this complex field; not particularly easy/light reading, but very valuable info. > > In the past, I assumed this information might be true, due to the cancer > cases reported of people living close to electrical power plants, under > high lines and in the proximity of transformers, etc. And policemen who > contracted cancer from using radar speed guns. Both Hulda Clark's book, "The Cure For All Diseases" and Becker's "Cross Currents" go nito this- no simple, 10-word answer (& I type too slow to try to go there now!<G> > And my last question...I've read that a built up static charge in the body > is detrimental...causing anxiety and insomnia. Do these devices build up > static in the body or do they do just the opposite and discharge static? Negative ions are said to be health-promoting, and give a sense of well-being, while positive ions are said to be agrevating, etc. A zaper supplies electrons at the grounded hand piece, and a return path at the positive hand piece. It does not build up a static charge within the body as I understand it's operation, but rather 'Induces a resonance' in the body... > I am new to this list and don't know if these things have been asked > before, so please bear with me if they have. There are archives available online for those who would like to go back through them; best technique is to open the (large) files in a word processor that can do a word search. I've placed some of the discussions on Zappers & the technical discussions related to optimizing their design & operation on the "Technical Discussion' pages at "The Alternate Health Approaches Forum" http://web.idirect.com/~showcase/althealth My Colloidal Silver information pages are also there. List maintainer for the Rife-List is Gary Hawkins; archives are available at http://www.eskimo.com/~ghawk/ Subscribe info should be available there. Be Well!
