Hello all,
I am very pleased to have become a member of the silver-list. I have developed
a great interest in CS after using some in Dec 97 to clear an intractable eye
infection, traditional drugs having little effect.
CS has had little exposure here in N.Z., the health food associations have
never heard of it, most is imported from Australia or U.S., so after some
intense study I have started manufacturing CS for sale.
I have found a microbiologist who thinks this product is the greatest thing
since sliced bread and is giving me support and guidance. We have embarked on
an intensive testing program the results of which I will share with you via the
list.
That being said, perhaps I may comment on some recent postings.
Ozonised water
Ozone is widely used in Europe in place of clorine to treat town water
supplies, swimming pools etc.It is much more biologically active than clorine
and leaves no residue.Ozone has a very short half-life and would degenerate to
oxygen within an hour at room temp. Ozonised water can be said to be sterile.
Pure water is a technical term which is, I believe, deionised (to prevent
precipitation and fouling of distilling equip) and passed through a distilling
mechanism via continuous loop at least three times. Interestingly I understand
the distillation process de-energises water molecules by reducing the angle
between the hydrogen bonds and that ozonising water restores this angle and
hence the energy contained.
Silver is quite stable in pure air and pure water ie it is not readily
oxidised. The tarnishing that some talk of is NOT oxidation but sulphidation
due to the high affinity of silver for sulphide. This is not a problem with CS
made with pure or distilled water. However, the UV part of ambient light will
cause some ozone to be produced in water and ozone will oxidise silver, this is
one reason to keep CS in amber containers or at least in the dark. I am not
sure if photons can canna neutralise the Ag+ ion which would result elemental
siver particles and perhaps plating out.

CS'PRO'
Mark asked if anyone had any experience with CS'PRO' systems good or bad. I
haven't any experience with their systems but I went and had a look at their
web site and read the 'Editorial' and 'TechNotes' pages, boy, talk about
baffling with B.S.. In these pages they contradict themselves and use chemistry
terms and concepts of which they demonstrate no understanding. They also
questioned the effectiveness and safety of Ionic CS (which by definition their
system cannot produce). I started to make a list of statements and assertions
which I thought needed clarification, but the list was just getting to big.
The bottom line: Low voltage DC systems produce Ionic CS of the most
bioavailable size (0.01 - 0.001 microns in distilled water, when used
correctly) which is greater than 300 times more bioactive than non-ionic
elemental silver colloid. And how much does their system cost?

Sorry about that last paragraph but it annoys me to see people being misled
because of the ignorance (or worse) of some vendor.
Well that's my spray for today.
Cheers to you all.
Ivan
